BACKSTREET BOYS ANNOUNCE NEW SONG WITH STEVE AOKI, ‘LET IT BE ME’: The Backstreet Boys and Steve Aoki have collaborated on a new song called “Let It Be Me.” BSB announced the news on their Instagram page, along with a photo of the group that included Aoki. “Introducing the 6th Backstreet Boy,” they captioned the photo. Aoki commented on the post, “I’m honored. Can’t wait to drop this.” The song – which does not appear on the group’s current album DNA – will be released on September 6th.

AVA MAX DEBUTS JOSEPH KAHN-DIRECTED MUSIC VIDEO FOR ‘TORN’: Ava Max transforms into a superhero in the comic book-themed video for her new song, “Torn.” The visual, directed by Britney Spears and Taylor Swift collaborator Joseph Kahn, was released on Tuesday. The music video was created in collaboration with Fiat and shot across four days on location in Milan, Italy, featuring iconic landmarks like the Duomo di Milano. “Shooting the torn music video was a dream come true. I got to travel all over Milan as a superhero confronting my cheating husband. I want women to know all around the world that they have the power!” Ava says of the video.

ED SHEERAN BREAKS U2’S RECORD FOR HIGHEST GROSSING TOUR OF ALL TIME: Ed Sheeran has broken a major record with his Divide Tour. According to Billboard, the 28-year-old musician’s most recent tour is officially the highest-grossing tour ever. The tour, which spanned over two years and more than 250 dates, grossed a record-setting $776.2 million. Ed broke U2’s record from their 2009-2011 360 Tour. That tour earned $736.4 million. Before that, The Rolling Stones’ A Bigger Bang Tour held the record back in 2007. Ed’s Divide Tour began on March 16, 2017, in Turin, Italy and hit six continents over 30 months. At the last of his four shows in Ipswich Monday, he hinted he may be closing the chapter on doing solo performances with just a loop pedal and a guitar.
