Watch A Lady Gaga Flashback

It’s been a decade since Lady Gaga famously bled all over the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards during her performance of “Poker Face” and “Paparazzi” – and now, the performance is finally available to stream.

MTV uploaded high quality footage of the performance. “It takes a decade for this channel to upload this iconic performance! ” one popular comment reads. “Children will be studying this in their history books. It’s that legendary,” added another.

It was Gaga’s first time at a major award show, having tied for the most nominations that year with Beyonc. She walked away with three awards, including Best New Artist.

That was the same show, in one of the most infamous award show moments of all time, Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, saying that Beyonc deserved the award Swift was holding.

The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards will air on August 26th.
