FORBES RELEASES HIGHEST-PAID STARS LIST: Dwayne Johnson is sitting pretty on top of its highest-paid actors list. The Rock raked in an estimated $89.4 million between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019. Chris Hemsworth came in second, with $76.4 million and Robert Downey Jr. was in third place with $66 million.
MEGHAN MARKLE SHARES PEEK AT FASHION LINE: Meghan Markle is sharing a look at her “lovely day.” After announcing that she is launching a capsule collection of women’s wear to benefit a charity that helps women snag jobs, Smart Works, fans are getting their first look at her project. She posted a video on Instagram Stories in which she surprises a group of women as they arrive to the collection’s photo shoot. The action is set to Bill Withers‘ 1977 hit, “Lovely Day.”
BOMBSHELL TEASER DROPS: Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman are ready to take on Roger Ailes in Bombshell, a new film about the sexual harassment scandal that resulted in the late chairman’s ouster at Fox News. “I think it’s an important story,” Theron told ET about getting involved in the project by The Big Short writer Charles Randolph and director Jay Roach. In addition to starring in the film, the actress also serves as co-producer. “It was written really well, and I think it was the writing, and the filmmaker, that made me realize it was in the right hands.”Bombshell will debut in theaters in December 2019.
PRINCE GEORGE TAKES ON QUITE THE COURSE-LOAD: The King-in-training has quite the curriculum ahead of him at Thomas’ Battersea. The 6-year-old Prince George will be studying math, English, science, history and geography, as well as diving into religious studies, French, computing, art/design technology, music, drama, P.E. and ballet. “The curriculum presented in Year 2 reflects the increased ability of the children, both academically and socially,” Helen Haslem, Head of Lower School, says on the school’s website. “It sees the completion of the basic skills in literacy and numeracy in Key Stage 1. Individual strengths and talents begin to emerge, which you will undoubtedly begin to see.”
