JESSICA MULRONEY SLAMS ‘RACIST BULLIES’ FOR ROYAL CRITICISM: Fashion stylist and royal pal Jessica Mulroney is defending her good friend Meghan Markle after “years of relentless” hate. Actress Jameela Jamil kicked things off, defending Meghan and husband Prince Harry against accusations of hypocrisy for promoting the environment and using private jets. Mulroney, 39, reposted them and added comments about the “unfair” situation. She criticized the “racist bullies” attacking Meghan. She wrote: “When someone faces unfair criticism, you call it out. When that person is your friend and your family, you call those critics what they truly are. Shame on you, you racist bullies.” (People)

CHRISTIE BRINKLEY TO JOIN DANCING WITH THE STARS: Christie Brinkley is joining Dancing With the Stars, Page Six reports. “They’ve been asking her for a long time – about 15 years and she finally agreed,” a source spilled. Brinkley recently appeared on Broadway starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago. ABC will formally announce contestants on Good Morning America ahead of the show’s September 16th bow. (Page Six)

TROUBLE FOR KATIE HOLMES, JAMIE FOXX STARTED THIS SUMMER: Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx started having relationship issues this summer, Page Six reports. The two reportedly broke up after six years together in June. A source tells Page Six that on Memorial Day, when they were supposed to meet in Montauk: “Katie called two hours before he was supposed to get on a plane from LA to NYC and canceled. He was really upset.” Foxx has since been seen out and about with singer Sela Vave. (Page Six)

JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS CREDITS VEEP WITH SAVING LIFE: Julia Louis-Dreyfus is looking back at the successful seven-year run of Veep with gratitude. She even credits the show with helping her pull through in her battle against cancer. “I’ve had a lot of personal challenges, losses, dear ones in my family, my own battle with cancer,” Louis-Dreyfus told ET, explaining that she doesn’t know how she would have handled it all “had I not had this really close intimate relationship with all of these people. We linked arms and we tried to do the most joyful funny thing possible as a team. It was like being on a sports team… and that was the most buoying thing, to constantly be coming back to.
