Source: Canadian teenager Jordyn Huitema to join Paris Saint-Germain
Canadian teenager Jordyn Huitema appears headed to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 17-year-old forward from Chilliwack, B.C., announced Thursday that she is forgoing college to turn pro. While Huitema did not disclose her destination, a source said it is the French powerhouse.
Huitema, who is in Grade 12, would have to wait until May when she turns 18 to join PSG.
Huitema, who has already won 16 caps for Canada, made two guest appearances for PSG at the International Champions Cup last July. The French club is also home to fellow Canadian international Ashley Lawrence.
