JULIE CHEN IS LEAVING THE TALK: It’s official. Many saw it coming when her husband Les Moonves left his CEO post at CBS over misconduct allegations, and now Julie Chen will formalize her departure from The Talk. Chen will reportedly announce her departure on today’s (Tuesday’s) show via video message, Vulture reports. Chen has not appeared on the CBS show since Moonves resigned. “She has decided that her main focus needs to be clearing her husband’s name from accusations made 25-30 years ago and tending to her son,” a source told CNN. Chen is expected to remain on the network’s Big Brother reality show. (For now). (Vulture)
IS JEFF LEWIS TRYING TO HIDE LEGAL BATTLE WITH SURROGATE? Flipping Out‘s Jeff Lewis wants to keep the lawsuit his surrogate filed against him under wraps, The Blast reports. He wants Alexandra Trent‘s suit removed from L.A. Court so it can be heard in arbitration, court docs read, per The Blast. Trent famously served as a surrogate for Lewis and his partner Gage Edwards, appearing on their Bravo show. She filed suit after images of her vagina appeared without permission and Lewis and his partner made derogatory comments about her grooming habits. (The Blast)
POLICE TO TAP CELEB WITNESSES IN MARK BURNETT & TOM ARNOLD BRAWL: Members of the LAPD plan to reach out to Kevin Bacon, Billy Eichner, Patton Oswalt, Alyson Hannigan, Jeff Probst and Bryan Fogel in their investigation of the brawl between Tom Arnold and Mark Burnett Sunday, TMZ reports. Several of the stars posted on social media about the fracas, and sources tell TMZ that they plan to get everyone’s perspective. Though their fight was reportedly filmed for Arnold’s show on Vice, he has yet to turn over footage. (TMZ)
RHOC SHANNON BEADOR SPRAINS HER ANKLE: For the second time in a year, Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has sprained her ankle. “So I’m not the happiest person right now cause after my walk…this is what happened,” Beador explained on her Instagram Story, showing her foot, which was elevated and wrapped in a medical boot. “You see that? You see that scooter? Yeah, I sprained my ankle.” She snagged her ankle this time by tripping on the stairs. (People)
