Government House polishes silver, stocks kitchen for royal visit

VICTORIA — The silverware is being polished, the menu crafted, children’s toys are being chosen and even the fridge is being stocked with locally brewed beers.

Government House in Victoria, B.C., is getting careful attention in preparation for Saturday’s arrival of royal guests.

Owners of Grouse Mountain ski hill in B.C. selling 500 hectares of private land

VANCOUVER — Grouse Mountain ski hill, one of British Columbia’s most popular visitor attractions, is up for sale.

The resort announced that after 40 years, the owners have retained CBRE Canada to market and sell its operation and almost 500 hectares of privately held lands.
