The Kamloops Food Bank is following the national trend with slightly more demand in 2015 compared to a year ago. Overall, the Wilson Street location sees 2,400 visits every month, with 7,000 individuals that come to us in a year.

An Environment Canada Snowfall Waring was in place for the South Thompson Region Saturday and Sunday. A low pressure system moved across the Southern Interior bringing snow of up to 15 centimetres at higher terrain near Kamloops. The valley bottom received about 5 centimetres.

It's a constant reminder of the ultimate sacrifice our soldiers have made. The Memorial Hill Cenotaph in Kamloops holds hundreds of local names, commemorating soldiers who lost their lives. The historic landmark sits on the corner of 2nd and Battle Street.
