NE-YO TO COMPETE IN ‘CELEBRITY NINJA WARRIOR FOR RED NOSE DAY’ EVENT: Ne-Yo is one of several celebrities who’s been tapped to appear during this year’s Celebrity Ninja Warrior for Red Nose Day television broadcast. The special event supports Red Nose Day, which was created to raise money and awareness for children around the world living in poverty. The show will feature the singer competing in the famous obstacle course seen on American Ninja Warrior alongside other famous faces such as WWE superstar Nikka Bella and Ne-Yo’s World of Dance co-star, Derek Hough. Each celebrity ninja will be coached and mentored by “elite ninjas” who’ll prepare the competitors for each challenging obstacle. Celebrity Ninja Warrior for Red Nose Day airs May 24th on NBC.

TAYLOR SWIFT’S STALKER SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS PROBATION: Taylor Swift’s stalker, who was accused of threatening to kill the singer and her family, has been sentenced to 10 years of probation. Frank Andrew Hoover was arrested in November 2016 after he violated a restraining order Swift had against him. The order was filed a month earlier after Hoover allegedly stalked the singer following her concert at a Formula 1 race. According to the indictment, Hoover had been emailing Swift’s father, Scott, for several months, threatening to murder the entire family. In addition to the 10 years of probation, Hoover will be monitored by GPS for at least the first year and must complete psychological as well as drug testing, according to TMZ.

MEGHAN TRAINOR TEAMS WITH ‘QUEER EYE’S’ FAB FIVE FOR CUSTOM PLAYLISTS: Meghan Trainor has teamed up with the cast of Netflix’s Queer Eye to create playlists that will be released every Monday in April. Each playlist will reflect the expertise of the show’s Fab Five experts – fashion, food, grooming, culture and design – but will also relate to Meghan’s latest single, “No Excuses.” The #MTQEPlaylist launched yesterday with Jonathan Van Ness, the show’s grooming expert. His playlist is called “Wake Up N’ Makeup,” and it features “No Excuses,” as well as songs by Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Beyonc, Demi Lovato, Pentatonix and a throwback ’90s tune: “All that She Wants” by Ace of Base. The new campaign will run through April 30th.

IMAGINE DRAGONS’ DAN REYNOLDS ANNOUNCES 2018 LOVELOUD FESTIVAL: Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds will host the 2018 LOVELOUD festival in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 28th The annual event, which launched in 2017, supports LGBTQ+ youth and raises awareness of that community’s suicide rate. “We at LOVELOUD are determined to help create a more loving and accepting environment for them, while also hoping to raise more than $1 million dollars for local and national LGBTQ+ charities,” says Dan. “We look forward to a day dedicated to celebrating their diversity while listening to great music and inspiring speakers.” Imagine Dragons will perform at the festival, along with Zedd, Neon Trees’ Tyler Glenn, America’s Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal and Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park. The launch of the inaugural LOVELOUD festival is detailed in Dan’s upcoming documentary Believer, which premieres on HBO in June.
