DOES KIM RICHARDS OWE $118K IN TAXES? Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards allegedly owes more than $118K to the State of California in unpaid taxes, according to court docs obtained by The Blast. The 53-year-old was reportedly hit with two tax liens in 2017: One filed in April claiming she owes $52,068.7 for the year 2013, and one filed in December claiming she owes $66,689.31 for the year 2014, totaling $118,758.01. They have yet to paid off, according to The Blast.
MILLIE BOBBY BROWN LANDS UP TO $3.2M FOR STRANGER THINGS: Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is set to make a whopping $3.2 million for the forthcoming third season of her popular Netflix show, according to reports. All of the kids in the cast have negotiated significant pay hikes this season. Now, Brown’s pay is set to be $250K-$350K per episode (depending on which report you believe), up from the $25K she was contracted to receive. If she earns the full $350K, that would put her on equal footing with her adult costar Winona Ryder.
MINDY KALING SIGNS ON FOR POPSUGAR FESTIVAL: Mindy Kaling has signed on to participate in PopSugar’s Play/Ground Festival. The two-day interactive event will feature programming and panel conversations from Kaling and other stars who’ll serve as creative advisors. There will also be musical performances, artist collaborations, a shopping bazaar and more. “At PopSugar, we aim to help women be the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves, and with this festival, we will bring those core values to life,” company founder and president, Lisa Sugar, said in a statement. “PopSugar Play/Ground‘s programming reflects the diverse range of interests of our audience – it’s a place where they can engage every part of their lives. This unique approach reflects the totality of women today.” The show is set for June 9-10 at Pier 94 in NYC.
WENDY WILLIAMS LANDS FIRST SIT-DOWN WITH CYNTHIA NIXON: Wendy Williams has nabbed the first sit-down televised interview with Cynthia Nixon in her bid to become New York’s next governor. The Sex and the City star is set to hit The Wendy Williams Show Wednesday. “We win by getting her in front of voters, because we actually want them to see the real Cynthia,” her spokesperson Rebecca Katz told Variety. “And that’s what we get with Wendy. Her viewers are a large and crucial part of the electorate, and her show reaches all corners of the state.”
