UNDER THE SILVER LAKE TRAILER DROPS: The new trailer for Under the Silver Lake, which was written and helmed by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows), shows Andrew Garfield as a stoner in hot pursuit of a girl he’s crushing on, played by Riley Keough. Dog chases and weird parties ensue. Under the Silver Lake drops June 22nd.

ICM PARTNERS & HOWIE MANDEL SNAG JUST FOR LAUGHS: ICM Partners and America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel will lead an investor group that has nabbed the Just For Laughs Group. The global comedy enterprise is best known for producing the Montreal-based comedy festival of the same name, but it also runs comedy tours and television festivals. “I have always been a big fan of Montreal and the Just For Laughs festival,” said Mandel, a Canada native and longtime ICM client. “I have performed at JFL many times over the last 10 years, and I have nothing but love for this event. I consider it to be a cultural treasure not only for the Montreal and Quebec communities but also for Canada; and I am very excited to be part of this group of investors that will ensure the Festival’s long-term success while growing their global comedy brand.” The 36th annual Just For Laughs Festival will run from July 14-28 in Montreal.

BBC AUDIT FINDS WOMEN MAKE 18.9% LESS THAN MEN: The gender pay gap at BBC Worldwide is being audited, and the findings have revealed stark differences. Men earn 18.9% more than women across the organization. The BBC also found that there is a gender bonus gap of 33.9% on a mean basis and 21.7% on a median basis. The company revealed that more men hold senior positions at the company, which is fueling the gap.

INDY 500 MOVES TO NBC: After 54 years on ABC, the Indianapolis 500 race will be broadcast on NBC. (Starting in 2019). The move is part of a multi-year media rights deal between IndyCar and NBC Sports Group. Financial terms were not disclosed.

NEW AVENGERS TRAILER THIRD-BIGGEST DEBUT: The second trailer for Avengers: Infinity War garnered 179 peeps in 24 hours, making it the third-largest trailer audience in history, Disney and Marvel Studios crow. It holds the record for biggest trailer release ever for a second trailer, knocking Beauty and the Beast from the top spot at 128 million views. The original Infinity War trailer reigns supreme for biggest audience at 230 viewers, and Warner Bros It holds second, with 197 million. Avengers makes its official theatrical bow April 27th.
