DRAKE’S HIT SINGLE REMAINS AT No. 1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 100 FOR EIGHTH WEEK: Drake’s smash hit “God’s Plan” has been No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks – its entire time on the chart. According to Billboard, only five other songs in history have managed to spend their first eight weeks or more at No. 1. They include Mariah Carey’s 1995 smash “Fantasy;” Adele’s “Hello;” Puff Daddy’s 1997 classic “I’ll Be Missing You;” Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind 1997;” and “One Sweet Day” by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men, which holds the record for most weeks spent at No. 1, with 16.

LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA & BEN PLATT RELEASE ‘FOUND TONIGHT’: Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt have teamed up for the new song “Found Tonight” – proceeds from which will be going to support March For Our Lives after the violent school shooting in Parkland, Florida, killed 17 people last month. The song was written by Lin-Manuel, along with famed songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Download the song on iTunes to support the song and March For Our Lives, which will take place on March 24th.

PITBULL TO SPEAK AT UNITED NATIONS ABOUT GLOBAL WATER CRISIS: Pitbull is heading to the United Nations to discuss the global water crisis on World Water Day. The organization Clean Water Here announced that the international pop star will be named Clean Water Here Ambassador on March 22nd, when he visits the U.N. in New York City. Pitbull also will receive the 2018 World Water Champion Award for his global humanitarian efforts. He is leading the celebrity-driven social media campaign dubbed “Clean Water Here Cause Flash,” in hopes of raising awareness of the water crisis. Other participants include Bruno Mars, P!nk, Maroon 5, Demi Lovato, Monica and Juanes. U.N. General Assembly President Miroslav Lajcak will launch a 10-year plan focused on sustainable development of water resources.
