The Queen Throws Shade??

Queen Elizabeth II delivered her formal permission for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to get married on May 19th, but observers are detecting a note of shade in the blessing.

The approval was deliver during a Mar. 14 Privy Council meeting at Buckingham Palace. The Queen used both Meghan and Harry’s full name in her decree: “My Lords, I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan, which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council.”

  • Observers are pointing out that when she gave Prince William and Kate Middleton the go-ahead, she referred to them as “Our Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, K.G. and Our Trusty and Well-beloved Catherine Elizabeth Middleton”.
  • The love for Meghan was clearly left out, but some are saying she will likely receive the same high praise when the formal document is written up.
