Michael Buble’s Coming Back

After stepping away from the business while his son Noah battled cancer, Michael Bubl is now slowly returning to the spotlight. He’ll host the Juno Awards on March 25th, appear at a charity event in April, and has booked two big U.K. shows for the summer. And he is more than halfway done with a new record.

Michael’s manager, Bruce Allen, tells the Vancouver Sun, “I can’t tell you that much about it because they’re recording a bunch of songs. But it’s going to be a themed album, like the Christmas album.”

No word on the theme, but Allen estimates the disc, which Michael is working on with producer David Foster, is about 60% done. He hopes it will be out by the end of the year, and then Michael will follow it with a world tour in 2019.

Michael’s last tour ended in 2015. He had planned to do one in support of his 2016 album Nobody But Me, but when Noah was diagnosed, it was canceled.
