CARRIE UNDERWOOD DEBUTS ‘THE CHAMPION’ MUSIC VIDEO FEATURING LUDACRIS: Carrie Underwood has debuted a moving music video to accompany her new anthem, “The Champion.” The motivating song, which features Ludacris, was unveiled during Super Bowl LII and was utilized throughout coverage of the 2018 Olympics. The music video goes back and forth between Underwood and Ludacris in the studio and an emotional montage of athletic and real-life champions. Children from St. Jude’s, #MeToo activists, police and soldiers all appear in the new clip.

ZAYN MALIK SHOWS OFF TATS WHILE BUYING NEW KEYBOARD: Zayn Malik was seen purchasing a new keyboard last week at Guitar Center in Miami. He wore a turquoise button-up, brown shorts, and grey and blue sneakers, putting his tattoo collection on display. Zayn has been busy sharing snippets of his new music on social media ahead of his second album, and he’s also been posting lots of videos jamming out with his friends.

DJ KHALED DROPS ‘TOP OFF’ FEATURING JAY-Z, BEYONC AND FUTURE: DJ Khaled has released “Top Off,” the first track from his upcoming project, Father of Asahd, and JAY-Z, Beyonc and Future join the rapper and producer on the hook-filled single. In the song, Future raps about peeling the top off of a Maybach, while JAY-Z raps about Meek Mill, his daughter Blue Ivy, Prince, and dropping $91,000 on Ace of Spades champagne. Queen Bey, meanwhile, does her thing, singing, “”I break the internet/ Top two and I ain’t number two/ My body, my ice, my cash/ All real I’m a triple threat.” A music video for the song puts Khaled nto a scene from Transformers, with a Decepticon literally taking Khaled’s car’s “Top Off.”

LORDE COVERS FRANK OCEAN, DEBUTS NEW MUSIC AT TOUR OPENER: The North American leg of Lorde’s Melodrama world tour kicked off in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Thursday night and fans went wild when the New Zealander covered a Frank Ocean song. Lorde sang “Solo” from the R&B artist’s 2016 album Blonde, putting a fresh spin on the track. Lorde also made good on her promise to perform previously unreleased music from the Melodrama sessions on tour, introducing a introduced a new song with a jaunty piano line and a high-energy pop hook. It is not know if the cut for the final album.

HARRY STYLES SIGNS MARCH FOR OUR LIVES PETITION CALLING FOR GUN CONTROL: Harry Styles has signed a petition from March For Our Lives advocating reform to this country’s gun laws. The March For Our Lives is currently scheduled to take place on March 24th in Washington, D.C. and is being spearheaded by survivors of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. The petition calls for three specific gun reform measures: banning the sale of assault weapons, banning high-capacity magazines and closing the “gun show loophole.” Such loopholes currently allow buyers to circumvent background check laws by purchasing weapons at shows or online. Under current laws, the petition argues that “millions of guns…could be falling into dangerous hands.” “The children of this country can no longer go to school in fear that each day could be their last,” it concludes. Harry tweeted about the petition and encouraged his fans to sign it as well.
