KATE UPTON ACCUSES GUESS CO-FOUNDER OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT: Kate Upton, once the face of Guess, is calling out the company’s co-founder and exec Paul Marciano for sexual harassment. She did not reveal specifics on social media, but she did tweet: “It’s disappointing that such an iconic women’s brand @GUESS is still empowering Paul Marciano as their creative director #metoo.” Marciano co-founded Guess in 1981. JIM CARREY CLEAR IN FORMER GIRLFRIEND’S DEATH: Jim Carrey‘s ex-girlfriend Cathriona White died of a drug overdoes in 2015. Her husband, Mark Burton, and her mother, Brigid Sweetman, sued Carrey, claiming he was responsible. Carrey filed a countersuit in September, claiming the lawsuits were extortion. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the matters were dismissed on January 25th. (The Hollywood Reporter)

ALEXA RAY JOEL CLAPS BACK AT HATERS: Christie Brinkley‘s model daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, is defending herself after a troll made a mean comment about her appearance in a photo Brinkley posted of her youngest daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook. The comment has since been deleted, but it apparently compared her looks to her Cook’s looks. Joel wrote to the troll: “@sams7007 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Mr. Big Shot. You may think I’m hideous, but I like the way I look. And that’s really all the matters. (Besides, there’s a lot more to people than just what they look like.) But hey, continue being a shallow, hateful troll in life and see where it gets you!” In 2017, the trio appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated. (People)

ROBERT WAGNER IS A ‘PERSON OF INTEREST’ IN NATALIE WOOD’S DROWNING DEATH: Actor Robert Wagner, 87, is a “person of interest” in the drowning death of actress Natalie Wood nearly four decades ago. The L.A. Sheriff Department tells CBS48 Hours in an upcoming interview (for which preview clips were released) that the investigation remains open. “As we’ve investigated the case over the last six years, I think he’s more of a person of interest now,” L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant John Corina said. “I mean, we know now that he was the last person to be with Natalie before she disappeared.” The pair were married from 1972 until her death in 1981. She drowned off the coast of California after going missing from the family yacht. Natalie Wood: Death in Dark Water will air February 3rd at 10 p.m. on CBS. (NY Daily News)

OPRAH WINFREY AXES RUSSELL SIMMONS FROM BOOK: After multiple accusations of sexual misconduct against Russell Simmons emerged, Oprah Winfrey is ousting his contribution for upcoming editions of The Wisdom of Sundays. The book was first published last October and includes excerpts from conversations between Winfrey and guests of her OWN series Super Soul Sunday. In addition to Simmons, the book features conversations with Deepak Chopra, Elizabeth Gilbert and Elie Wiesel, among others. (NY Times)
