Grammy Whoops

Justin Bieber may not be getting his Latin Grammy award anytime soon. Late last year, the 23-year-old won the award for “Despacito,” his collaboration with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, but he wasn’t there to accept it.

Instead, the award was shipped to Justin, but it looks like it was mailed to the wrong person. Producer Carlos Escalona Cruz, who works with Marc Anthony, took to Instagram to reveal that the award had been accidentally shipped to him.

“This is the funniest way to start #2018, I was expecting a #Grammy for @marcanthony for Babies and I received @justinbieber Grammy for #despacito remix with @luisfonsi and @daddyyankee instead,” Carlos wrote.

Since receiving the award, Carlos has spoken to the Latin Academy of Records Arts & Sciences who apologized and asked for him to ship the Grammy back.
