Ed Sheeran Featured in Obit

An Icelandic newspaper accidentally killed off Ed Sheeran. Fans tweeted an image of the obituary page in the Morgunbladid paper, which showed a photo of Ed next to the obituary of an 82-year-old mechanic named Svavar Gunnar Sigursson.

“This obituary appeared in today’s @morgunbladid (Icelandic newspaper) I think someone might be getting fired today. #rip @edsheeran,” one tweeter wrote.

“Hate to break it to u but Ed Sheeran is dead. It also turns out he is a 82 year old Icelandic man called Svavar. Ed Sheeran was apperantly only his stage name….,” another tweeted.

Ed, of course, is alive and well and engaged to his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn.
