Armie Hammer earned a rep on the set of Sorry To Bother You for being generous with his ganja. “The first time I saw him, he gave me some weed,” his co-star Omari Hardwick said at the Sundance Film Festival Vulture Spot panel. But director Boots Riley said it was no gift: “When I saw Armie the next time, he was like, ‘Hey have you seen Omari? I asked him to hold my weed for me.’” Tessa Thompson said the tale perked her ears up, telling Hammer as he nodded his head: “I thought you were so generous. His former co-star Reed Timmer shared the sad news Tuesday. “RIP my best friend and storm chasing partner, Joel Taylor. I am shocked and absolutely devastated by the loss of my incredible, caring friend,” Timmer wrote on Twitter. “We chased so many intense storms, and I wish we could have just one more storm chase. I’ll miss you forever, Joel. We lost a legend,” Timmer added. His cause of death is unknown. (New York Daily News)
