TAYLOR SWIFT TRADEMARKING THE PHRASE ‘BIG REPUTATION’: Taylor Swift has a reputation for trademarking her lyrics and song titles, and it looks as if she’s at it again. According to TMZ, the singer’s company, TAS Rights Management, LLC, has filed documents to secure the rights to the phrase “Big Reputation.” The phrase is a lyric from her song “End Game,” where she sings, “Big reputation/big reputation/Ooh, you and me would be a big conversation.” Apparently, Taylor is looking to use “Big Reputation” on merchandise items including sunglasses, cell phone cases, pajamas and gloves. She’s also reportedly trademarking her own signature, for usage on bathrobes, hair pins, dolls and toy glow sticks. Taylor previously trademarked a bunch of phrases from her 1989 album, including “This Sick Beat,” “We Never Go Out of Style” and “I Could Show You Incredible Things.”

ARIANA GRANDE UP FOR HERO OF THE YEAR AT NME AWARDS: Ariana Grande has been nominated for Hero of the Year at the 2018 NME Awards, given out each year by the British publication NME. The nomination comes in recognition of her role in organizing the One Love Manchester benefit show, following the bombing at her concert in Manchester last May that killed 23 people. Ariana’s competition in the category includes Rose McGowan, for speaking out against sexual harassment, as well a few British politicians and celebrities. The One Love benefit is nominated for Music Moment of the Year; it’s up against, among other things, Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl halftime show. Ed Sheeran received several nominations as well: he’s up for Best British Solo Artist and Best Festival Headliner. His pal Taylor Swift is up for Best International Solo Artist and Best Video, for “Look What You Made Me Do.” Lorde and Charli XCX are the leading nominees, with four nods each; Dua Lipa has received three. The winners will be announced at a live ceremony on February 14th at London’s O2 Academy Brixton; the event will be streamed on Facebook Live.

SELENA GOMEZ MADE DONATION TO TIME’S UP THAT ‘FAR EXCEEDED’ WOODY ALLEN FILM SALARY: Timothee Chalamet and Rebecca Hall, Selena Gomez’s co-stars in the upcoming Woody Allen film A Rainy Day in New York, announced this week that they would be donating their salaries from the film to Time’s Up and other charities. Now, it seems that Selena has done the same. A source close to the actress tells People that Selena has already “made a significant donation anonymously” to Time’s Up that “far exceeded her salary for the film.” Selena has yet to make a public statement against Allen, who has been accused of molesting his daughter Dylan Farrow, a claim which he denies.
