The new song is the first single from Hudson’s upcoming fourth full-length studio album, expected to arrive next year. The piano ballad arrives via a powerful performance music video.

The release caps off an incredible 2017 for Hudson. For her riveting turn on The Color Purple (New Broadway Cast Recording) – Album, she earned a Grammy in the category of Best Musical Theater Album and a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program.

She also wowed as a coach on the 13th season of NBC’s The Voice.
