CHANCE THE RAPPER PERFORMS AT BARACK OBAMA FOUNDATION SUMMIT: Chance the Rapper was an honored guest at some of the Obama Administration's final White House activities. Now that Barack Obama is a private citizen with a foundation to run, the former president recruited Chance to appear at his organization's summit in Chicago. The rapper performed several songs, including "Dear Theodosia" from the Hamilton soundtrack, with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Francis and the Lights. The National, Gloria Estefan and Nas also performed during the evening of music and progressive coalition-building. Master of None's Aziz Ansari and Lena Waite made appearances as well. Earlier in the Summit, Common appeared with Miranda for a lively discussion about "solutions to the world's most pressing problems." The Obama Foundation shared a photo of Barack and Michelle Obama onstage with Chance, captioning it: "Hope and Chance."

TRAILER DEBUTS FOR BARBRA STREISAND'S NETFLIX CONCERT FILM: The trailer has debuted for Barbra Streisand's upcoming Netflix concert film, Barbra: The Music...The Mem'ries...The Magic! The film, which Barbra co-directed, features footage from her December 2016 Miami concert. She wows the sold-out crowd with Broadway standards, classic ballads and tales from her six-decade-spanning career. The trailer also shows Barbra recording her 2016 album, ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, with movie stars including Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman and Melissa McCarthy. Barbra: The Music...The Mem'ries...The Magic! premieres November 22nd.

VANCE JOY ANNOUNCES 'NATION OF TWO' ALBUM, RELEASES NEW SINGLE: Vance Joy has shared new song, "Like Gold," the latest track from upcoming album Nation of Two, set to arrive in February 2018. "I wrote 'Like Gold' after coming off the road at the start of 2016," Joy said. "It started with a simple melody I was humming and the idea of looking back at a relationship." "Nation Of Two describes a perfectly self-contained couple," Joy added. "Their world beginning and ending at the bed they share, the car they ride in, or any other place where they're together...the idea that their love for each other gives them their bearings; a point of reference that makes sense of life." The exact release date and track list for the album has yet to be revealed, but it will feature the single "Lay It on Me."
