JOHN LEGEND COMPLETES EGOT WITH EMMY WIN FOR ‘JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR’: John Legend is now EGOT winner – someone who has won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony. The 39-year-old entertainer won his first Emmy at the 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles. John and composers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice all achieved EGOT status for a win in the Outstanding Variety Special category for producing the Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert special on NBC. John has won 10 Grammys over the years, including Best New Artist in 2006, an Oscar for Best Original Song for writing “Glory” for the movie Selma, and a Tony for Best Revival of a Play for producing Jitney.

POST MALONE’S ROLLS ROYCE INVOLVED IN LOS ANGELES ACCIDENT: Post Malone’s $320k Rolls Royce Wraith was involved in an accident with another vehicle in West Hollywood at around 2:45 a.m. Friday. No one was injured, but both vehicles appeared to be badly damaged. Post said a Kia hit his Rolls in the intersection, causing him to spin out. Police confirmed several people were treated at the scene but no one was seriously hurt. Post tweeted following the accident, “god must hate me lol.” The next day, Post shelled out $420k on a new Rolls Royce Phantom. The accident comes just two weeks after his private jet was forced into an emergency landing when two of its tires exploded during take-off.

LADY GAGA REFLECTS ON WHEN SHE WAS BULLIED IN SCHOOL: Lady Gaga is reflecting on difficult times in her past. The 32-year-old A Star Is Born actress and pop superstar opened up during an interview with Variety Sunday at 2018 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. “When I see myself in this film, I see so much of myself when I was younger, when I did not believe in myself, when I was bullied in school, I felt ugly, and my only escape was music and that’s why I started to sing and write songs and act was because I wanted an escape from all of that pain. Little Stefani right now, she’s very humbled and she’s very surprised,” she said. “I always flipped it on its head. If they wanted me to look sexy, I wanted to look weird. I always wanted to define what it meant to be me and I always had something to say and I always made sure that no one stood in my way when I wanted to say it.”

SHAWN MENDES TO TEAM WITH ZAC BROWN BAND FOR ‘CMT CROSSROADS’: Shawn Mendes is teaming up with superstar country group Zac Brown Band for an episode of CMT Crossroads, the series that pairs country artists with rock and pop acts. The episode, which will be taped outside of Nashville next week, will debut October 24th on CMT. “I’m so excited to head to Nashville to play with Zac and the band on Crossroads. It’s going to be a blast,” Shawn says in a statement. Zac Brown adds, “Shawn is an incredibly talented artist and it’s been exciting to watch his career rise over the past few years. We’ve had fun collaborating together.” Zac Brown Band is used to teaming up with non-country acts. They recently completed a run of stadium dates with OneRepublic, and over the years, they’ve collaborated with rockers Dave Grohl and the late Chris Cornell, Sara Bareilles, Jewel, Jason Mraz, Kid Rock, late superstar DJ Avicii and Sheryl Crow, among others.

ARIANA GRANDE DISABLES INSTAGRAM COMMENTS FOLLOWING MAC MILLER’S PASSING: Ariana Grande has turned off her Instagram comments following ex boyfriend Mac Miller’s death. The 25-year-old disabled the comments after many people began blaming her for the rapper’s overdose and subsequent passing. Ariana and Mac broke up earlier this year after about two years of dating. Shortly after parting ways, Mac was involved in a DUI incident and she also faced accusations of being the cause of the car accident. One day after the 26-year-old rapper was pronounced dead from an apparent overdose, Grande shared a black-and-white photograph of her former boyfriend via Instagram on Saturday. Choosing to let the image speak for itself, Grande shared the image without a caption.

‘MADAM SECRETARY’ ACTOR ERICH BERGEN DEBUTS NEW SINGLE: Actor and singer/songwriter Erich Bergen has released his new single, “Running Through The Night.” Bergen currently stars as Blake Moran on the hit CBS television drama series, Madam Secretary, and is fresh off his official Broadway debut, having starred in Sara Bareilles’ Waitress The Musical opposite Katharine McPhee this summer. “This song is the most personal song I’ve ever released,” shares the native New Yorker. “In fact, I think it’s the most personal piece I’ve ever worked on…in any medium.” The song comes after Bergen’s battle with cancer, and is touched upon in the song’s lyrics. He has been in remission for five years. Erich is currently filming the fifth season of Madam Secretary.
