JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TO PERFORM AT THE SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW: Justin Timberlake has reportedly been asked to perform at the Super Bowl LII halftime show in 2018. While officials have yet to confirm the reports, Timberlake's return to the Super Bowl would mark 14 years since his infamous 2004 halftime show with Janet Jackson, when he pulled off a piece of her outfit and briefly exposed her breast. Super Bowl LII will be held at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on February 4, 2018.

DEMI LOVATO, PRETTYMUCH & MORE ANNOUNCED AS TRL REBOOT GUESTS: MTV's iconic music video countdown show Total Request Live finally returns after a nine year hiatus on October 2nd. Details of the reboot's guests have been kept under wraps until recently, when Migos and Ed Sheeran were announced to be the first to make an appearance in the show's Times Square studio. Now, TRL has shared some additional guests making MTV history by appearing on the show for the first time. Boy band PRETTYMUCH is slated to appear on October 3rd with Noah Cyrus and Playboi Carti. Demi Lovato and Lil Uzi Vert are going to be on October 4th episode. An excited Demi Lovato shared the news on Twitter, saying "See you on @TRL next week NYC!!"

TAYLOR SWIFT SENDS FLOWERS TO CARDI B FOR HITTING NO. 1 SPOT: Cardi B is the first female rapper in 19 years to have the No. 1 song in the country with her hit "Bodak Yellow." The pop star that she bumped off the top is none other than Taylor Swift, who sent Cardi a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which the rapper shared with the message: "Sooo beautiful and lovely. Thank you @taylorswift for the flowers ...and I freaking love your music." While many artists sent congratulations, Azealia Banks had some disparaging words for the singer, calling her a "poor man's Nicki [Minaj]." Cardi fired back, posting a clip of Banks dancing to her song. "One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1! Cuz even the HATERS love it!" she wrote.

MUMFORD & SONS TO PLAY ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX: Mumford & Sons will hit the race track later this year when they perform at the Yasalam After-Race concert series at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The four-day event will be held November 23-27 in the United Arab Emirates capital, with Mumford & Sons taking the stage November 25th. P!nk and Calvin Harris will also perform during the series. Mumford & Sons are currently working on their next album, the follow-up to 2015's Wilder Mind.

MEGHAN TRAINOR WRITING MUSIC FOR A NEW ABC GIRL GROUP DRAMA: One year after taking the world by storm with smashes like "No" and "Me Too," Meghan Trainor is now gearing up to put some of her "Bass" into the TV scene. The Grammy Award-winning 23-year-old singer-songwriter is executive producing and writing original music for an upcoming girl group drama at ABC called Broken Record. The show will focus on a group called The Candies, who reunite nearly a decade after their split and navigate the music scene together.

DEMI LOVATO TO BE HONORED AT INSTYLE AWARDS: Demi Lovato will be honored October 23rd when INSTYLE magazine presents its third annual INSTYLE Awards, which honor actors and actresses who are red carpet trendsetters, as well as fashion industry pros. At the event, held at LA's Getty Center, Demi will be given the Advocate award. Other honorees this year include Zendaya, who'll get the Style Star award; Cate Blanchett, who'll receive the Style Icon award, and Elle Fanning, who's been named Breakthrough Style Star. This follows Demi's appointment as the Mental Health Ambassador for Global Citizen. In her role, she'll be working with refugees in Iraq.
