Lady Gaga Prepping New Music?

August 31, 2017 - 9:30am

Lady Gaga's most recent album, Joanne, just came out late last year, but she's already looking ahead to her next release.

Gaga tells Entertainment Weekly, "I've started writing." Asked if she plans to release another single from Joanne or move on to the new album, Gaga says, "I'll let you know. I have a lot of ideas and a lot of things I want to create, so you'll see in a bit. I need some time to create."

As far as any new music being premiered on her current Joanne world tour, Gaga says it's somewhat unlikely, due to the nature of this particular show.

"The stage is coded with a computer. It's intense and the cues all have to be met at a particular time. It's high stress and tense backstage to make sure everything happens at the exact moment it's supposed to," she says. "So, the setlist might change a little bit, but mostly you're coming to see a piece that we've created for you. It's two hours and fifteen minutes we've thought about very closely. It's from our heart."

The Joanne tour runs through December 18th.

Meanwhile, despite heavy rain pours throughout the evening, Lady Gaga took to the stage to perform for her second and final show at Citi Field as part of the Joanne World Tour on Tuesday in New York City.

Gaga closed out the concert by bringing her longtime pals Breedlove, Tommy London, and Darian Darling onstage with her to perform her hit ballad "Million Reasons."

"2 packed Citi Field #JoanneWorldTourNYC nights in a row might give a girl a cold except I'm from here so.. the show must go on!," Gaga tweeted after the concert.

Lady Gaga flashes some underboob while wearing a black top and crucifix on V magazine's annual music issue, which will be sold on newsstands today. In a new interview, the singer talks about her new album Joanne and tour of the same name.

"With Joanne, I wanted to reach people, I wanted to bring all parts of the country together through this record," Gaga said.
