REPORT: DISNEY IS STRUGGLING TO CAST LIVE-ACTION ALADDIN: Disney is struggling with casting issues for Guy Ritchie's live-action version of Aladdin. More than 2,000 potentials have auditioned for the roles of Jasmine and Aladdin, but finding a suitable young man of Middle Eastern descent who wants to take on the role has proved difficult. Lion's Dev Patel and The Night Of's Riz Ahmed were reportedly considered, but it didn't work out. The Big Star‘s Kumail Nanjiani heard about the story and joked on Twitter, "What am I, chopped liver?" Who would you like to see play Jasmine and Aladdin? (The Hollywood Reporter)

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS SLAMS JAMES WOODS FOR 'IGNORANT TWEET': Neil Patrick Harris blasted James Woods on Twitter after Woods posted a tweet that Harris found offensive about a young boy. Woods, 70, shared a picture of a couple with their son at a Pride Parade in California bearing posters that read "I love my gender creative son!" and "My son wears dresses & makeup... Get over it!!" Woods captioned the shot: "This is sweet. Wait until this poor kid grows up, realizes what you've done, and stuffs both of you dismembered into a freezer in the garage." Critics, including Harris, lashed out at Woods immediately. The Gone Girl actor wrote: "Utterly ignorant and classless, Mr. Woods. I'm friends with this family. You know not of what you speak, and should be ashamed of yourself." (People)

GEORGE AND AMAL CLOONEY OUT ON THE TOWN IN ITALY: George and Amal Clooney hit the town in Italy where they are vacationing near their home in Lake Como. The couple welcomed twins Ella and Alexander in June, but managed to look as tanned, rested and as chill as ever. An onlooker tells People: "Everyone was so excited to see him and Amal for dinner. They got many hugs and a lot of love. Amal looked gorgeous and didn't look the slightest bit tired. She kept smiling and looked so happy. You could tell they were happy about the date night. In the past, they always dined for hours. This time, it was obvious they didn't want to be out too late." The parents touched down in Milan with their twins on Monday, marking the first time they'd been seen in public with Ella and Alexander. (People)

FORMER TLC STAR TOBY WILLIS PLEADS GUILTY TO CHILD RAPE CHARGES, GETS 40 YEARS IN PRISON: The former TLC star Toby Willis, 47, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty on Tuesday, July 11th to four counts of child rape. The former reality star was reportedly sentenced to two 25-year sentences on two counts and two 40-year sentences on the other two. The sentences will be served at the same time, meaning he will serve a total of 40 years. He has been behind bars in Cheatham County jail in Tennessee after being arrested last September for raping a young girl. Willis, his wife Brenda and their 12 children performed Irish-inspired music and were discovered on America's Got Talent before landing a TLC show in 2015. The show was reportedly canceled before his arrest. (Us Magazine)

KERMIT THE FROG TO GET A NEW VOICE: Kermit the Frog is getting a new voice as Steve Whitmire is leaving his role as the iconic green Muppet. He has voiced and made Kermit move since Muppets creator Jim Henson died in 1990. Longtime Muppets performer Matt Vogel is set to take on the role. Vogel has voiced Big Bird, Robin the Frog and the Count. Think he can take on Kermit? (New York Daily News)
