Wiz and Charlie Set New Record

"Gangnam Style" is king of YouTube no more. Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth have broken the record for the most-viewed video of all time on YouTube for "See You Again." At 5:30 p.m. on Monday, it hit 2,894,026,649 views, surpassing the 2,894,022,885 views for the Psy song "Gangnam Style," according to Khalifa publicist Rogers and Cowan. "Gangnam Style" held the record for five years, having passed Justin Bieber's "Baby" in November of 2012.

"See You Again," a tribute to actor Paul Walker from the 2015 movie Furious 7, has averaged more than 3 million views per day in 2017. At press time, the totals were: "See You Again": 2,900,838,703 views; "Gangnam Style": 2,895,784,307.

"Gangnam Style" became the first video to clock one billion views on YouTube in December of 2012, and the first video to reach two billion views in May of 2014.
