Bill passed away peacefully in Merritt BC after a battle with dementia. He is survived by his partner Britt, daughter Kim (Steve), son Bill jr. (Emer), sister Denise, niece Mellissa, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Bill worked as a tugboat captain and crab boat captain most of his life on the coast of BC and in the Fraser River. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved reading, playing crib and of course always loved a good debate (heated argument). He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Special thanks to the staff at Gillis house who took special care of Bill during his last year of life. No service as requested.
