City Councillor wants to see higher parking fees on Victoria Street

KAMLOOPS — City Councillor Denis Walsh would like to see parking prices increased along Victoria Street.

While Walsh doesn't believe the downtown has a parking shortage issue, he says increasing the fee would free up more spots along the downtown's busiest street.

Kamloops property tax rate 'doing well' compared to other cities

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops residential property tax rates are doing well compared to other municipalities.

Those are the words from the city's finance department in its 2018 provisional budget that's set to be unveiled at city hall Tuesday.

KAMLOOPS — For the past decade, the month of November has signalled a new growth in the space between many men’s noses and mouths. Now in its tenth year, the Movember movement has grown like a moustache, from a simple fundraising campaign, into a bigger movement focusing on Men’s Health.
