Naturalist club wants to turn McArthur Island golf course into outdoor learning space

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Naturalist Club wants to turn the McArthur Island golf course into a different kind of 'green.'

Earlier this week the ​course's operator announced he wouldn't be renewing the lease on the property handing it over to the city.

Halloween Ghost Train on track tonight, promises plenty of scares and fun

KAMLOOPS — There's bound to be plenty of screams and family fun as the Kamloops Ghost Train 2141 gets rolling tonight.

This year's ghost train tells the story of a steam locomotive that disappeared after leaving Kamloops for Blue River more than 100 years ago.

Three volunteer fire departments receive generous donation from Lions Clubs

KAMLOOPS — This summer's historic wildfire season in B.C. was devastating.

More than 1.2 million hectares burned across the province. Within the TNRD, 215 structures were destroyed, including the Loon Lake Volunteer Fire Hall. The wreckage is gone, but the rebuild has yet to begin.
