Man dies from stab wound after fight in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside

VANCOUVER — A man is dead after being stabbed in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Police say a fight broke out around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday (at the intersection of Main and Hastings streets).

A man was taken to hospital with a serious stab wound, where he died a short while later.

Possible early-morning homicide in Surrey, B.C., prompts RCMP investigation

SURREY, B.C. — Police in Surrey are investigating a possible early-morning homicide.

The RCMP say officers were called to a home (on the 10100 block of 128th St.) shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday to find a woman in her 60s suffering from serious injuries.
