Two injured as cyclist shoots at car, car hits cyclist in West Kelowna, B.C.

WEST KELOWNA, B.C. — A cyclist is in police custody after shots were fired at a car in West Kelowna, B.C.

RCMP spokesman Const. Jesse O’Donaghey says a 48-year-old man was in his car Tuesday night when another man on a bike pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle.

Mount Polley mine disaster hits 2-year mark, fallout still causes divisions

VICTORIA — It's been almost two years since millions of cubic metres of mining waste gushed from a tailings pond into rivers, lakes and streams at the Mount Polley mine in British Columbia's Interior.
