Tearful wildfire victims hoping to get back home soon, thankful for help

KAMLOOPS — Tears streamed down Ester Spye's face as she talked with Premier Christy Clark and Ashcroft-based Liberal MLA Jackie Tegart, pleading for any help she can get after her house on the Ashcroft Reserve burned down.

Almost every town has a Cenotaph that honour soldiers who have died for our freedom, but how many communities have found a way to commemorate battles on a walk or drive through town? In Sorrento -remembering goes well beyond November 11th, it happens every day.
