Kelowna to make Memorial Cup pitch

KAMLOOPS — The Kelowna Rockets have become the second team to bid to host the 2020 Memorial Cup.
Todays announcement by the Rockets follows that of the Kamloops Blazers last November —- and there could be a third bid.
Nothing official yet from the Victoria Royals, but there has been speculation that the Royals will put in a bid before the end of May deadline.
The 2020 Memorial Cup host will be announced in October.
