Fire crews deal with fire in Westsyde early this morning

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire and Rescue had to deal with a fire overnight in Westsyde.

Platoon Captain Rob Chalmers says they got the call to a residence on Wawn Place just before 1:30 AM.

Crews found a section of hedge and a shed on fire.

The fire was put out quickly, but Chalmers says the contents of the shed were destroyed and the shell of the building as well.
