KAMLOOPS — Royal Inland Hospital says it’s reviewing how it files medical records following a case of 35 patient files going missing last month.

The hospitals health services manager Kris Kristjanson says while all but four have been recovered, this incident has been a wake-up call.

“We’re continuing to search all of our files and records, both in our ambulatory unit and in the health records department. We are reviewing our filing system that we’re using with all the people who do the filing to ensure this type of incident doesn’t happen again,” said Kristjanson.
