Crash leads to coke bust near 100 Mile House

100 Mile House — Police in 100 Mile House discovered more than they had bargained for after responding to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 97 near 93 Mile House Monday.
North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the driver of the car was driving too fast for condtions resulting in injuries to the driver and the passenger.
However she says further investigation revealed a significant amount of illegal drugs — including more than 740 grams of cocaine and amphetamines.
No word yet on whether the pair will face any charges.
