Don Hay chosen head coach for U18 Worlds

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Blazers Head Coach Don Hay has been selected as the head coach of Canada’s National Under-18 Team at the 2018 IIHF U18 World Championship in Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk, Russia.

The tournament will take place April 19-29. Hay last coached internationally at the 2013 IIHF U18 World Championship hosted in Sochi, Russia, where as head coach he helped lead the team to gold.

This past season Hay became the WHL's most winningest coach. In addition to that, he is also a two-time World Junior Championship-medallist.

Hay believes two Blazers have a shot to represent Canada at U18 tournament
