City of Kamloops puts out call for Parks and Rec committee volunteers

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is seeking volunteers for its Parks and Recreation Committee.

The Terms of Reference for the committee can be found on the city’s website at kamloops.ca/volunteer.

The committee advises city council on matters related to community parks, sport, and recreation. A two-year commitment is required.

Those interested are asked to submit a brief resume with a cover letter outlining their background and interest in the committee by 4:00 p.m. on April 3.

The package should be sent to Deputy Corporate Officer Stephanie Nicols at legislate@kamloops.ca. It can also be faxed to (250) 828-3578.
