KAMLOOPS — Four students at Thompson Rivers University were awarded bursaries at the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) Central Interior general membership dinner Wednesday night at the Sandman Signature Hotel.

The bursaries went to the top four students of the first year residential construction program at TRU’s School of Trades and Technology.

The 2018 Training House gives first year residential construction and electrical program students hands-on building experience. The students do the foundation and rough in work and the home is finished with CHBA member contractors.

The winning students were Tyler McNinch (top student of the class), Rebecca McKerchar, Elijah Semeniuk, and Drew Hegyi.
