KAMLOOPS — The South Kam Titans are B.C. boys "AAA" basketball champions.

The number two seed Titans defeated top seed Byrne Creek of Burnaby 74-66 to win the title.

It's the first senior boys provincial championship in Kam High/South Kam school history after a pair of second place finishes by Kam High in 1974 and South Kam in 2017.

Nick Sarai with 28 points was named the tournament MVP.

Reid Jansen was also named to the first allstar team.

The boys' win follows the South Kam Titans girls winning the B.C. "AA" championship last week.
