Body recovered from Domtar mill site

KAMLOOPS — Mounties have finally recovered the body from the Domtar Pulp Mill site.

The body was first discovered by mill employees Wednesday afternoon on the property near one of the mill’s settling ponds.

“At this time it is still not known the gender, age or identity of the body,” says Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. “Once an autopsy has been completed more information will be forthcoming.”

She says officers are still on scene “processing the site” and the investigation is ongoing.
