Spring-like temperatures expected this weekend in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — It’s the news many Kamloopsians have been waiting for as temperatures are expected to soar into the double digits this weekend and continuing into early next week.

“But we’ve got one last low pressure system moving across the province starting in the overnight period Wednesday night and bringing a chance of flurries or rain showers throughout the day on Thursday,” says Environment Canada Meteorologist Lisa West. “But the trend then for the weekend is towards sunny weather and higher temperatures.”

She says highs could reach 14 by Sunday and 15 by Monday.

Is it fair to say spring is here then?
