KAMLOOPS — A central Cariboo man is behind bars for allegedly uttering threats.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says it all started early last Friday afternoon when police were called to a home on Likely Road.

“Information was received that a man residing in that residence had made threats of harm to members of his family, himself and the police,” she says.

Saunderson says police learned quickly upon arrival that the man was home alone and arrested the suspect after about an hour and half of negotiating with him.
