Date set for Sagmoen bail hearing decision

KAMLOOPS — A man accused of assaulting two women working as online escorts will learn the outcome of his bail hearing next week.

37 year old Curtis Sagmoen is facing nine criminal charges, and one under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, for alleged offences that occurred near Falkland last summer.

After a bail hearing in Salmon Arm court Monday, the judge will announce his decision Feb 28th in Vernon court.

The remains of 18 year old Traci Genereaux were found by police on land owned by Sagmoen’s family on Salmon River Road near Salmon Arm last October.

Police called her death suspicious, but no charges have been laid.
