Kamloops' Morrison finishes out of medals at Olympics

KAMLOOPS — Josie Morrison from Kamloops and the Canadian women's speed skating pursuit team has finished out of the medals at the Olympics.

The U.S. had a time of 2:59.27 to finish less than a half second ahead of  to claim bronze.

Canada's time was 2:59.72.

Earlier Canada had finished second to Japan by just under three seconds in the semi finals.

Japan went on to win the gold medal over the Netherlands, which takes silver.
