Interior Health CEO Mazurkewich announces retirement plans

KELOWNA — Interior Health has announced the impending retirement of its President and CEO, Chris Mazurkewich.

In a news release, IH Board Chair Doug Cochrane says the board has accepted Mazurkewich’s letter of resignation, effective at the end of October.

Mazurkewich was appointed CEO in October of 2015 under the former BC Liberal government.

Cochrane says the board is already proceeding with the recruitment of a new President and CEO.
