Robbery at Timmy’s

KAMLOOPS — Another hold up in Vernon.

A man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Tim Horton’s at 3905 32nd Street just before 11 o’clock Wednesday night as the restaurant was about to close.

RCMP say when the man was told it was closing time, he approached the till, allegedly threatening violence when demanding cash.

He ran off and while officers with a service dog searched the area, they couldn’t find him.

The man is described as white with short brown hair and a short beard.

He was wearing a black toque, a black jacket and running shoes.

The man also had tattoo of some sort on his neck.on his neck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crimestoppers.

There is video surveillance of the suspect and officers are working with Tim Hortons and other surrounding businesses to gather the evidence to try to identify the man.

The employees were not injured during this incident.
