Blazers lose in last 30 seconds in Spokane

SPOKANE — Edmonton Oilers prospect Kailer Yamamoto scored with 28 seconds left in regulation time to lift the Spokane Chiefs to a 3-2 win over the Kamloops Blazers.

The loss further damaged the Blazers playoff chances, leaving them six points out of a wild card with 15 games left.

Joe Gatenby opened the scoring for Kamloops with his 12th of the season early in the first period.
