Weather continues to be a problem for travellers

KAMLOOPS — Weather continues to play havoc with us.

After a hectic day of rain, freezing rain and snow yesterday, Kamloops is looking at some relief for the long weekend, although it could be a little cool. 

Not so good are the highways around us.

The Trans Canada is closed in both directions from Golden to the border because of a high avalanche hazard, and isn’t expected to be open until at least the noon hour.

The Cariboo is still under a travel advisory in the Williams Lake area, and they’ve had freezing rain and black ice overnight from Clinton north.
